You can't step outside and see how it relates. The western philosophers are asking how things appear in experience. Direct experience remains a pre requisite, existence exists and this means the experience cannot be viewed beyond a point, it cannot be further reduced. How do things appear in experience?
Is there any meaning to putting a dot on a straight line and calling it the origin when all you want to do is get rid of measurement?
